"I will Smash You" and "60 writers/ 60 Places" screening

RESCHEDULED EVENT: Michael Kimball and Luca Dipierro’s collaborative effort’s will be shown at The Creative Alliance on Sunday Feb. 21 at 7:30 p.m. Kimball, a writer, filmmaker and visual artist  and Dipierro ,a novelist created two “innovative documentaries”, the first “I Will Smash You”–which follows twenty people who all tell a personal story about an object and then destroy It.

The second “’60 Writers/60 Places’  meets 60 writers reading their work in 60 places—Blake Butler on a subway, Deb Olin Unferth in a laundromat, Jamie Gaughran-Perez in a salon, Tita Chico in a dressing room, Will Eno in a park, Tao Lin next to a hot dog cart, Rick Moody on a baseball field, and Rupert Wondolowski at a diner.”

 The films are part of CAMM’s indie premires. The tickets cost $8  to the general public and $6  to members of The Creative Alliance. Visit creativealliance.org for more information and other events.

    The Creative Alliance is such a cool place! Every one who works there is so nice. It’d definitely be a fun to go back there.

    yeah, and they have such a wide range of events so there is something for everyone.
