“Banksy Film” to play at the Landmark theater

On April 30, a new film called Exit Through the Gift Shop will be playing at The Landmark theater in Harbor East. The film profiles Thierry “Terry” Guetta, a Frenchman who decided to film notorious street artists, (Banksy being one of them.)

The film played at the 2010 Sundance Festival and the Berlinale.

For those of you who don’t know, Banksy is a street artist from Great Britain, who uses stencils and graffiti to make satirical art. Bansky has kept his identity hidden from the public.

Here are some examples of his work

I think the film looks interesting. How about that hidden face and morphed voice? What. a lovely interview subject.
