Recently Watched: This Fithly World

John Waters is synonymous with Baltimore.  We’ve got crabs, crime (The Wire) and John Waters! I haven’t seen many of his films, but I enjoy his pop culture commentary. I’ve seen him on talks shows as well as the film “This is Film is Not Yet Rated,” so I was excited to see that he had a comedy special on Netflix.

“This Fithy World” is pretty hilarious from start to finish. I particularly liked when he talked about his bit was about how he was obsessed with “The Bad Seed” as a child which I found pretty funny. (The Bad Seed is about a little girl that kills people who don’t give her what she wants.) I also liked his impressions of people from Baltimore. There’s a pretty long segment where he imitates actual things that he has heard people in Baltimore say. (Not really flattering but funny nonetheless.)

If you haven’t seen it, I suggest that you do.
